ALA Independent Investigator Awards
The American Lung Association’s Nationwide Research Program fosters basic, clinical and behavioral research designed to find cures and to prevent and relieve the suffering associated with lung disease. Areas of grants include, but are not limited to: Biomedical, Clinical Patient Care, Social-Behavioral and DeSouza Research Award. For more information visit the ALA National website.
Sade Orr Dunbar Nursing Education Scholorship Fund
The average award is $1,500 to $2,000. Applicants must have been accepted to a graduate nursing degree program within Oregon, in an institution of higher learning and must practice in Oregon upon graduation.
